Exhibition of ritual God treasure at Okinoshima Island

 Okinoshima island is desert island in the middle of Genkainada sea. The island's area is 4 square kilometers and the height is 243 meters. It was used as landmark of the way to the Chinese continent from Japan during the ancient era.? An important ritual was celebrated at a specific place. That place has been changed over time from top of the rock to the half shade of rock and half open air and is now held in the open air. The rituals were very important for foreign negotiations. From 4th century to 10th century, Yamato Chotei government (one of the ancient Japanese government) dedicated many first class luxury articles: the mirror, the golden ring, the dragon head, the harness, some Tosansai (china), and some Narasansai (Nara period three colored china). 23ancient places for rites were found, and there are 100 thousand treasures of god found at there. those treasures are important cultural property or national treasures.
